FRAUD - James HodgesJames Hodges - The winner of our biggest idiot award easily goes to James Hodges of Sacramento. Mr. Hodges purchased a product online and he said he was not automatically redirected to the download page by PayPal. So of course, instead of following the customer support directions on the website, this jerk opens a dispute with PayPal. OK, that happens. So Hodges was given the download link. James Hodges then accessed the website and downloaded the product. Issue resolved? One would think. About 10 minutes later James Hodges submitted a message in PayPal saying 'I want my money back now!!!!!!!!!!!!' Hodges' main reason for a refund was that when he called a number listed for the company it was answered by a fax machine. Huh? That's right. Despite having 3 different email addresses to contact for support, including an email address he was specifically told to use for any customer support issues, our bonehead hero called a number he found to be listed for the company and was answered by fax. Of course, James Hodges could have sent a fax! - but didn't do that either. After Hodges claimed he did not have the product, he was confronted with the fact that the computer server logs showed he had accessed and downloaded the product without any problem. The response by James Hodges, naturally, was that he was reporting the seller to the Attorney General because 'Your customer service number is a FAX.' Wow. Good luck with that one.
