FRAUD - Jerome Nelson

Jerome Nelson - maybe its not outright fraud and just extortion. Jerome Nelson bought online software, acknowledged setting it up, then made a claim with PayPal seeking his money back. Not surprisingly, PayPal quickly closed his claim and that was the end of Jerome Nelson.... Until, our hero decided to send an email threatening what appeared to be defamatory 'further action' unless money was paid to him. Jerome Nelson should read the terms and conditions of sale explicitly stating no refund money is owed. Unfortunately for Jerome Nelson, the only thing that crap gets him is his name on this web page.

Here are some email addresses to watch out for: jerome@askjerome.com, joe@blackmediaenterprise.com, sales@ncbbd.com

Upon further inquiry from Jerome Nelson, there is unfortunately more to add:

Mr. Nelson claimed the software had a 30 day refund period and he asked for a refund within that period. The software, however, explicitly stated that it had a no refund policy since it could not be returned.

Jerome Nelson them claimed the software 'didn't work' and the order was cancelled the day after purchase. Actually, the software works fine and there is a written record of Jerome installing the software but requesting help setting up a cron job. Before the cron job could be set up, Nelson filed his dispute - within hours (not the next day) of the purchase.

Nelson is also on written record as indicating he simply decided to use different software. Fine. He may have received a refund.

He could have said thanks, but due to certain needs different software was required, and it could have been determined whether the purchased product met those needs or not.

Instead, Nelson attempted to harm the business by making a false claim about the software not working, the refund policy, and when the dispute was made.

Then, the threat.

Not good. Not good at all.
