Commission Junction offers thousands of premium affiliate products for sale. It is very expensive for merchants to use Commission Junction, so only large, well-developed businesses tend to use the service.

For affiliate marketers, this means the products are generally of high quality and easier to sell.

On the other hand, these are not digital products, but usually physical goods that need to be packaged and delivered. Moreover, 'big' businesses tend to have smaller profit margins per product sale, instead relying on a high sales volume to make an overall high profit. What this means for affiliates is low commissions per sale.

Instead of a check, affiliates can also request to be paid by direct deposit directly into their bank account.

Affiliate signups are automatic at for some Commission Junction merchants, but not all. This means an affiliate will not necessarily be approved by all merchants and be able to sell their products. Some merchants check the affiliate's website(s) registered with Commission Junction to make sure they are appropriate for selling the merchant's wares. This is a quality control check.
